Who should attend Ashly’s Boot Camp?

We know it’s intimidating to start a new fitness routine, but entering the BB HIIT Camp is designed to welcome and include clients from all backgrounds. We address the issues of our members, whether you have chronic pain, prior injuries or inexperience, we’ll make sure you’re taken care of!

We’re a group of non-judgmental, light-hearted, motivated individuals who are making big steps to improve our health. HIIT means you’re guaranteed High Intensity Interval Training in every session, which will lead to strength, stamina, weight loss and sexy curves.

What do I bring to BB HIIT Camp?

You will need an exercise mat, a pair of dumbbells (light to moderate), sweat towel, water bottle, comfortable clothing and GOOD running shoes and gloves (to protect hands on the cement).  Most importantly…”I can do it” attitude! 

What is a daily workout session like?

Every class is packed full of challenging and safe fitness drills  of agility, coordination, speed and balance… to strength training using body weight, dumbbells and bands.  We will focus on core conditioning and strength to better improve your quality of life.  You will work at your own fitness level while being challenged by your Bio~Balance Trainer and your peers.

What if I can’t perform the exercise?

Our trainer gives 2-3 fitness levels for each complex; along with modifications for any exercise that you are not comfortable with or not YET able to perform.  No worries….there are lots of alternatives. 

Food Plan – Fat Burning Tips

­­*My philosophy is to eat foods in their natural state.  If it is processed…stay away from it.  That only slows down your fat loss.

*Portion Control is the key!  Eat only when you are hungry.  .  PLEASE refer to the Bio~Balance blog for more information on food behaviors, nutritional advice and more; simply check out our Blog or the Meal Planning page.

*Clean out your pantry and refrigerator.  Throw away all the junk food that will sabotage you reaching your goal.  Replace with good healthy choices: fresh fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and a good whey protein powder (Osolean), chicken, turkey and fish.

What about weather?

Rain or shine, come no matter what. In the event of inclement weather, we will train under the overhang porch area at the front of the building.  In the event of tornadoes, severe thunderstorms or ice keep your cell phone handy, We will send out a mass text to let you know the status of class.

Communication

Your Bio~Balance coach will communicate status of the class via text message.  Class is RARELY cancelled.  In the event that it is canceled due to severe weather for several days in a row, Bio~Balance will set up a makeup session.

What are the instructors’ expectations?

  1. For all participants to be ready for class to start at 5:30am.  You will need time to check in and get ready for an awesome start to your day!
  2. For all participants to come focused with an “I Can Do It” Attitude! Only positive words of encouragement will be voiced and heard.
  3. For the participant to work hard physically and mentally. Exercise and Nutrition and your mental strength ALL play a role in your long term success.     Educate yourself on what your body needs for exercise, nutrition and strength of mind by adhering to the program.
